These kayak adventures traverse the eastern boundary of Denali National Park, Alaska and explore whitewater on the Nenana River. Inflatable Kayaks are durable, lightweight, forgiving and high performance whitewater boats that have revolutionized recreational river running. First-time kayakers can have fun paddling class II & III rapids with guidance, instruction and support from a knowledgeable and professional guide.

 

More Fun in Your Own Boat:
The joy of whitewater becomes more participatory in your own kayak. Imagine yourself learning to kayak class II & III whitewater, crashing through waves and negotiating rapids on your first kayaking adventure. Don't just hold on for the ride -- be a part of the action! Flipping and swimming are always a possibility.

Professional Guides and Equipment: The tour provider uses some of the best equipment available. Every paddler will be wearing a drysuit, helmet, specialized PFD and wetsuit booties. Experienced and knowledgeable guides will provide support and instruction on paddle techniques, river safety, assisted and self rescue.

Physical Condition -- Outdoor Enthusiast: This trip is our most challenging activity. A good level of physical fitness is required. Guests who enjoy vigorous hikes, mountain biking and other strenuous outdoor activities will generally perform better than others.

(Physical test may be required prior to participation. The tour provider reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion.)


Cancellations: In the regrettable event the tour provider cancels, you will receive a full refund.  They reserve the right to alter trip itineraries due to weather conditions, high water levels and other safety considerations. 48 hour advance notice is required by our guests to receive a full refund for their cancellation. A 50% deposit will be non-refundable with less than 48 hours notice. Additionally, Mountain Morning charges $5 or 5%, whichever is greater, for all cancellations.

You can only reserve a tour after you have reserved a stay with us. We will use the credit card information we have on file. We will send you a confirmation. All tours promoted by Denali Mountain Morning Hostel & Lodge are provided by other companies. The hostel does not accept any liability to anyone regarding what occurs during, before, or after, the tour. We only guarantee the provider will be paid the money charged to your card and have represented the tour operator's offers to the best of our ability, based on the information they have provided us. Prices are subject to change. If the provider raises his price after you have booked your tour, this price will be passed on to you.
