Times for pick up and return of rental gear
in the morning between 8am and 10am OR
in the afternoon/evening between 4:00pm and
9:30pm
An additional day is charged at the beginning
of each additional 24-hour period. We treat the 2-hour
morning period and the 5.5-hour evening period as
beginnings/ends to the 24-hour period. So, if you
pick up gear in the afternoon between 4pm and 9:30pm
on, say, July 10, and you return the gear on the evening
of July 11, anytime between 4pm and 9:30pm, you are
charged for a one-day rental. If you return the gear
on the morning of July 12, anytime between 8am and
10am, you are charged for a two-day rental. If you
return the gear in the afternoon/evening BEFORE 9:30pm
on July 12, you are still charged for a two-day rental.
If you return the gear July 13, it becomes a 3-day
rental.

prior to obtaining rental gear:
I/We agree to return all rental gear in pre-rental
condition by the time and date specified below.
All gear rented from Denali Mountain Morning
Hostel will be inspected upon return.
The value of any part of the rental gear that
is damaged or lost will be charged to my credit
card. The value is determined by the current wholesale
replacement cost.
If I fail to return rental gear by the return
date and time specified below, I understand that
my credit card will be charged for DOUBLE THE
DAILY RENTAL FEE for each 24 hour period beyond
due date.(We're flexible if circumstances were
out of your control.)
Additionally, the following Assumption of Risk
form must be signed prior to obtaining rental gear:
I am aware that camping, hiking
and travel in Alaska are hazardous activities.
I am voluntarily participating in these activities
with full knowledge of the risks and potential
dangers involved. I hereby agree to accept any
and all risks of injury and/or death.
I further understand that by signing
this document, I am releasing any claims which
I may have against Denali Mountain Morning Hostel,
its employees and affiliates, from any liability
for personal injury, property damage or death
arising from my participation in any activities
during my booking/reservation/gear rental period
with them.
I certify that I have read this
form and fully understand that camping, hiking
and travel by any and all means may be dangerous,
that by signing this form I am giving up legal
rights that I have. I further state that I wish
to engage in the activities offered and/or assisted
by Denali Mountain Morning Hostel.
CANCELLATIONS:
We recognize that plans do change. You will incur a $5 or 5% (whichever is greater)
cancellation charge for all cancellations just to cover our costs.
If you fail to cancel at least
one week in advance
of your reservation
, you will be charged 50% of your reserved gear.
Necessary forms will be provided when you come to pick up your gear.
Come
with a sense of adventure and you won't be disappointed!
We are getting out of the camp gear rental business. If you see something you like, make an offer. We might even give it to you!
