Let us share the wonderful enthusiasm of the Alaskan Husky with you. Come to understand the special relationship between musher and dog. See arctic survival gear, sleds and racing equipment. Learn about our state-of-the-art dog-powered training carousels and heated dog barn. Soak in 30 years of Alaska dog-mushing stories from freight hauling on Denali to crossing the finish line in Nome with a champion Iditarod team.
Jeff King is recognized as the "Winningest Musher in the World". His victories include not only the 1,049 mile Iditarod Sled dog race in 1993, 1996, 1998, and 2006, but also over two dozen first place finishes in races all across Alaska. Donna is a well-known artist whose art portrays her intimate involvement with mushing and her love and respect of nature. Also included is a kennel of more than 75 friendly, energetic Alaska huskies ready to share with you their enthusiasm for the sport of sled dog racing and love of the outdoors.The Goose Lake Studio gallery and booking office, located at milepost 238.5 of the Parks Highway in the log cabin behind the Denali Princess Lodge main lobby, is open 8:00 am to 10:00 pm daily from mid-May to mid-September.Our vehicles will pick up at most area hotels as well as at the Goose Lake Studio gallery.Tours depart at 830am, 1230pm, and 7pm and return at 11am, 3pm, and 930pm.

They pick up at Denali Cabins, just north of the hostel. You can take our morning shuttle, catch a ride or hitch there. You need to be there at least 30 minutes before the tour. They can also pick you up and drop you off at the Wilderness Access Center in the park or in "Glitter Gultch".
Cancellations: Groups of 10 or more require a 72 hour notice. Otherwise 24 hours. If you cancel more than 4 hours in advance AND the space is rebooked, you can also get a refund. Mountain Morning charges $5 or 5%, which ever is greater for all cancellations.
