Dog Cart Ride and Wilderness Living Adventure is an exciting, fun filled soft adventure that provides an up close look into most aspects of wilderness living including live Caribou that are and have been so important to the Denali Area. At our river side location, visit with Alaskans that make their living and raise their families in the wilderness near Denali. Your hosts are woodsmen, trappers, hunters, showing you their Alaska. They will share stories, tales and a few tricks regarding mining, prospecting, trapping and hunting that make their lives different than most that come to visit. They will share a welcome snack at camp, show and talk about furs then end your trip with you feeling the power and excitement while riding a sled dog pulled cart in full view of Mt. McKinley (Weather permitting) before returning to the hostel. Duration: Approximately 2.5 Hours Daily Departures: 8:00 a.m. - 10am. - 2:00p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Pricing: Adults: Regular - $79/person Children: Regular - $59/person They won't let you miss your bus or train! And they will pick you up opposite the hostel! Cancellation Policy: Twenty-four hour notice or a 20% cancellation fee applies. In addition, Mountain Morning charges $10 or 10% of the price of the tour for all customer initiated cancellations.
