A last minute cancellation has created an IMMEDIATE opening for a Housekeeper/Cleaner.
As our cleaner, you clean the cabins and rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, make beds, do laundry etc. When finished (and during, to a degree) you also might take reservations, help guests, sell tours and groceries etc. But, primarily, it is cleaning.
The Job is 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 6 might be possible if you wish. We work closely with neighboring properties so you can work part time at two places if you would like. Besides cleaning, you could also work as a server or something.
The base pay is $9 per hour. In addition you get free housing and a $1 per hour worked end-of-season bonus if you stay on to the end. We pay at the high end and yet also offer FREE housing with PRIVATE SPACE, and a bonus.
Working at a hostel is fun and if you work hard is low stress. We work hard to see our guests AND our employees enjoy thier once in a lifetime trip to Alaska. Good money and a good job for good people working for good people. You don't HAVE to work the corporate giants to work in Denali.
The job begins on May 5th and ends on September 23rd or so. If you can't make the whole season, apply anyway, we may be able to work something out.
